Information for buyers

BIDDING

All bidders will be required to register and supply valid contact details so they can be vetted prior to bidding approval

All bidders are required to pay a £100 security deposit that is refunded if no item is purchased. Please note that in the case of card payments no money is physically taken, funds are simply held on the card and then released automatically after a set time period

VIEWING

Lots may be viewing for the two days prior to the start of the auction. Location details will appear on the auction listing during this time

VALUE ADDED TAX (VAT)

All lots are subject to VAT charged at 20%

BUYERS PREMIUM

All lots are subject to a 5% buyers premium to be paid on conclusion of the sale by the successful bidder

PAYMENTS

All lots must be paid for in full within 5 working days of the sale. On conclusion of the sale the successful bidder should contact our accounts team to arrange their payment. No lots will be released until payment is made in full.

CONDITIONS OF SALE

All lots will be sold in accordance with our standard terms and conditions. Buyers are required to agree to these conditions on registration but we advise you to read them carefully.

OVERSEAS BUYERS

Overseas buyers are required to supply additional information to enable them to place bids. Please contact our sales team who will be happy to advise you accordingly.

EXPORTING GOODS

Please be advised that different conditions exist for goods intended to be exported.

VAT will be charged at the standard rate on all lots and then refunded following receipt of the relevant documentation detailing the export of said goods. Please contact our sales team for more information on this.
