Munie Remarketing

Munie remarketing is comprehensive managed asset disposal service aimed directly at fleet and transport managers. In essence we will manage your de-fleet process from start to finish which will help to free up significant amounts of your time.

We have also structured our range of services in a way that allows you to ‘cherry pick’ the aspects you want so you only pay for what you need. Features of our remarketing service include:

How It Works

We will send a dedicated remarketing manager to assess your asset disposal needs and provide you with our recommendations. Then we can collect your equipment and store it at our fully insured and CCTV monitored site where we have parking for up to 200 vehicles. Equipment will then be inspected and prepared for sale which can include valeting. Additional preparation options are also available from cosmetic repairs through to full refurbishments courtesy of our sister company Cooper Commercial.

Once the vehicle has been prepared we will begin remarketing through our online sales & auction site Munie.com, through trade press advertising and through direct marketing via our database of worldwide contacts and registered members of Munie.com

Placing A Bid

To place a bid on any item on Munie you must be a 'verified' buyer. This simply means you have to pay a one-off fee (�4.99) to verify that you are serious bidder. We do this to protect our customers against bogus or malicious bids from non-genuine users. Once verified members are free to bid on any item at any time.

To become verified simply follow the on-screen instructions after you place your bid.

Placing a bid on an item you are interested in couldn't be easier, when viewing the item details page you will have two areas from where you can place your bid, one next to the item details and a second at the bottom of the page.

To place your bid simply enter the amount you wish to bid e.g. 50.00. Please note no currency symbols are required. The bid will be placed in the auction currency.

Once done you will be asked to review your bid and you will also be able to view vital item details such as the shipping conditions before confirming your bid. To submit your bid simply press the Place Bid button.

If your bid is high enough to take the lead in the auction a confirmation message will be displayed to you, however if your bid has not taken the lead be it due to a higher proxy bid or not meeting the reserve price you will be invited to make a further bid.

You can also place a proxy bid, proxy bidding allows you to place your High Bid. At all times you will only pay the lowest required bid should you win the auction. For example, if the current bid on an auction is 500.00 you can place a proxy bid of 2,000. Should you remain the only bidder you will only pay 500.00. However should the item receive other bids the site will automatically re-bid for you (upto 2,000 in this scenario) to ensure you remain in the lead.
